What is an ignition interlock device (IID)?
An ignition interlock device is a breathalyzer installed in your vehicle that measures the level of alcohol in your breath. Connected directly to your vehicle’s ignition system, you are required to blow into the attached mouthpiece to test your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC). If your alcohol concentration exceeds a specified legal level, the interlock device temporarily prevents your vehicle from starting.
The Interlock 7000
The Interlock 7000 features a rear mounted mouthpiece and sleek design, making the device less noticeable. The Interlock 7000 can easily differentiate between breath alcohol and mouth alcohol (such as mouthwash), so say goodbye to unnecessary lockouts! Also, the Draeger Interlock 7000’s intelligent camera can detect a change in driver making it the most accurate interlock device on the market.
The Draeger Interlock® 7000 and Draeger Interlock® XT offer advanced technologies to deliver accurate results, fast.
